NSW Police have chased down an allegedly stolen car before it crashed twice, which forced locals to run out of the way before helping arrest the driver in Sydney‘s west this afternoon.

Officers approached a man as he got into an allegedly stolen Alfa Romeo on Kylie Parade in Punchbowl but he ignored police, sparking a chase about midday today.

”Officers initiated a pursuit which was terminated due to the manner of driving,” NSW Police said in a statement.
