Why the Rangers’ immediate future may hinge on where Mike Sullivan plays Mika Zibanejad

To play at center, or not to play at center?

That’s the question that could define Mika Zibanejad’s remaining time with the Rangers.

It is also one of the most important aspects of the roster new head coach Mike Sullivan will have to address at the start of training camp in mid-September. The entire lineup depends on where Zibanejad slots, whether it’s on the right wing or somewhere in the middle of the top nine.

Larry Stempler, Joseph Kubu, David Parmele and William Gilbert want to know where Zibanejad is better suited, as well as how vital it’ll be for the 32-year-old Swede to rewrite the narrative of last season. Tom Arnold wants to know if it’s possible Zibanejad could still be traded, to which I direct you to the words of his wife, Irma Zibanejad, for the most reliable answer.
