Add hairspray to Whoopi Goldberg’s holiday wish list.
The 68-year-old “Sister Act” star showed off her quick-witted comedic timing Monday on “The View” during the talk show’s recurring “View Your Deal” segment.
Fellow co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines recruited guest Julia Roberts to help model consumer products to viewers when the “Pretty Woman” star declared Serge Normant’s dry conditioner as “a little wow in a can.”
This sent Goldberg running from backstage onto the set where she playfully took the can from Roberts before going back into hiding.
“Whoopi’s here!” Normant, a celebrity hairstylist joked as Goldberg dashed back through the set.
Roberts, who appeared on the show to talk about her upcoming Netflix thriller “Leave the World Behind” alongside Mahershala Ali and Ethan Hawke, seemed frightened for half a second before she realized the EGOT-winner was the one tugging at the can.
But Goldberg’s unplanned prank made Roberts, Hostin, and Haines all burst into laughter.

Goldberg must’ve been in a goofy mood Wednesday. Elsewhere in the show, she spoke in a British accent during the “Hot Topics” segment.
“Why are we getting Queen Elizabeth in this?” co-host Ana Navarro questioned.
“Because that’s where I’m at,” Goldberg shot back without missing a beat.
Last week, Goldberg was feeling fiery as she defended Dolly Parton against online trolls who criticized the “9 to 5” singer for the bedazzled Dallas Cowboys cheerleading uniform she wore during her NFL halftime show performance on Thanksgiving.
“Bite me,” Goldberg told the haters. “Everybody that participated in this, you should be ashamed of yourself.”
“The View” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. EST on ABC.
