This has been something of a mystery.
We’ve heard about Tulsi Gabbard in the past 48 hours – things are certainly looking up for her nomination. It might actually all be over, and we could have a DNI by the end of the day for all the mud-slinging and wrangling they did to try to stop it.
The Senate voted 52-46 to invoke cloture last night, and senators are on the clock voting.
Bernie Sanders, snek in the grass that he is, has voted against her.
There’s some history there that bears repeating if only to reaffirm what a disgusting, self-interested, ethics-free, back-stabbing POS Sanders is.

Sen Markwayne Mullin says they have the votes to carry her confirmation and get to a Kash Patel vote on Thursday.

I mean, certain parties have been going out of their way to smear Patel as often and as loudly as they can, trying to sink the nomination before it gets to a vote.

Or is it something deeper. Something that schmaybe has to do with a pardon the scummy congressman accepted from xPOTATUS and now the consequences have him squirming with Patel as potential FBI director.
Because Patel happens to be one of those rare guys who knows where the bodies are buried before he gets to the office. Lyin’, slimy Schiff is s**tin’ bricks at the thought because he drove the car, opened the trunk and always had plastic bags and duct tape ready for new bodies when his masters needed them disposed of.

There’s also a long, long line of Americans who cannot wait for an FBI director to be seated who works FOR them and this country, not against them for a faceless cabal of authoritarian globalists. Rumors of more FBI malfeasance (see John’s deep dive here) only make Patel’s confirmation more important than ever to get to work straightening that snek pit out once and for all – purging the last remnants of the Deep State operatives and Obama acolytes.
This puts ICE agents’ lives in HUGE danger, and allows gang members to flee.

In a last minute effort to torpedo Patel’s nomination, a ‘whistleblower’ is whining to Congress that Patel has been ‘working behind the scenes’ to begin the purge of rotten-to-the-core FBI agents even before he’s confirmed.
