The couple posed for photos — her in Fendi and him in Dior — sparking all kinds of questions from viewers far and wide. And while some people may not have even known that Pattinson had a serious girlfriend, the two have been together for years, yes, years. Back in August 2018, a source told Us Weekly that the two had been seeing one another for months, adding that they have “known each other and been around each other for a long time.” Moreover, a source told the outlet that the two bond over “music” and that they “are both really cool, nice and normal people and fun-loving.”

Pattinson and Waterhouse actually didn’t step out together until recently. According to Entertainment Tonight, their first-ever joint public appearance came in December 2022 when they walked the red carpet together at the Dior Men’s Fall 2023 show in Egypt.
