While Taylor Swift has yet to divulge whether “You’re Losing Me” is, in fact, about her breakup with Joe Alwyn, the lyrics tend to suggest the song is definitely about a breakup with someone. Take the opening lines, for example, “You say, ‘I don’t understand,’ and I say, ‘I know you don’t.’ We thought a cure would come through in time, now, I fear it won’t.” Yikes. But that’s not all. Perhaps the most damning evidence of a breakup occurs in the lyrics of the chorus, “My heart won’t start anymore for you.”

As you may recall, Swift is no stranger when it comes to revealing intimate details of her personal life through her music. “I love writing songs because I love preserving memories, like putting a picture frame around a feeling you once had.
