070 Shake is a rapper who hails from North Bergen, New Jersey. Her debut single “Trust Nobody” was released in 2016. She grabbed attention in 2018 when she appeared on Kanye West’s eighth studio album, “Ye” as a featured artist on the tracks “Ghost Town” and “Violent Crimes.” In a video feature for Billboard, 070 Shake said it was through a friend that she was discovered and then signed onto West’s G.O.O.D. Music record label back in 2017. “A girl in my town that became famous on Instagram met someone in G.O.O.D. Music and showed them my music and Kanye heard it, and then he sent someone working in G.O.O.D. Music to come look for me,” she said. “Two weeks prior, I was like, ‘I wouldn’t sign to anybody besides G.O.O.D. Music’ and then two weeks later they just reached out to me.”
