This will go even higher, to 32 degrees, on Saturday, before another top of 30 degrees on Easter Sunday.
However, temperatures are forecast to cool again on Monday.

Although heavier rain is forecast for the Queensland capital earlier in the week, there will be showers remaining through the long weekend.
However, rain totals are set to be light.
Things are forecast to clear up on Monday, while top temperatures over the long weekend will hover around 27-28 degrees.
Good Friday in Adelaide will be a sunny day with a top temperature of 29 degrees.
Skies will get more overcast during the weekend, culminating in a forecast shower on Sunday.
Adelaide is also forecast to crack 30 degrees, with a top of 31 predicted for Saturday.
Hobart is looking at a slightly blustery weekend, with consistent south-easterlies of 15km/hr to 20km/hr from Good Friday onward.
Temperatures will peak at 25 degrees on Easter Sunday, when there is also a chance of rain, before dropping again on a grey Monday.

Perth’s long weekend is looking consistent, with BoM forecasting tops of 31 degrees from Friday through to Sunday.
The skies will be mostly sunny.

Light winds and a cloudy sky will mark Canberra’s Easter festivities.
Top temperatures will hover around the mid-20s.
Darwin could face a possible storm on Good Friday, with up to 15mm of rain forecast.
Similar totals are expected from showers on Saturday and Sunday.
But, as usual for the Top End, it won’t bring down the heat, with tops of 32 degrees forecast all weekend.
