Of all Khloé Kardashian’s exes, French Montana has had some of the nicest things to say. First introduced by Diddy at a party in Vegas back in 2014, they dated on and off for about a year, breaking up and making up more times than we could keep track of. Unlike some of her other relationships, there was no dramatic ending, it simply seemed that the spark they shared had fizzled out.
In a 2019 interview with Haute Living, the rapper confirmed what we had long suspected: The pair’s split was mutual and respectful— just a transition from romance to friendship. He told the magazine, “Me and Khloé are always going to be friends, and the family still remains close. I feel like we had a real dope relationship— there was no bad blood, nobody did something to somebody that we couldn’t come back from. The love was real. When the love was like that, it’s always going to be like that. Friendship after a relationship is something that’s real hard to do, and I’m glad we’ve been able to do that.”

He continues to regularly speak up in his ex-girlfriend’s defense to this day. In a 2022 interview on “The Breakfast Club” (via TikTok), French made it clear that he doesn’t believe a so-called Kardashian curse exists. He went on to say that it simply comes down to the fact that the women have become so successful that their partners can easily fall to the wayside if they aren’t as driven or hard-working.
