It’s no wonder Ginger Zee and Ben Aaron hit it off, because Aaron is actually a fellow journalist. According to Married Biography, Aaron got his start in journalism when he was just 18 years old. Obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in media at Emerson College, Aaron knew exactly what he wanted to do from the very beginning, per PIX 11. He began his professional career working for Radio Disney as a host in New York. But seeing as California is known as the entertainment capital of the world, Aaron decided to move to the Sunshine State to further his career, per Married Biography.

During his time in California, the journalist landed a series of different roles as a reporter. Aaron worked for KSWB TV and NBC Universal at WNBC. Aaron even became a talk show host for “Crazy Talk” with Tanisha Thomas until 2016. Although he held different positions as a journalist, none of them truly stuck. Despite moving to different locations to pursue job opportunities, Aaron ended up back in New York. It’s unclear when he made the move back to the East Coast state, but seeing as Zee’s career was based in New York, it was sure to make the decision easier. Aaron was eventually able to land another journalistic role with PIX 11. Since 2020, he has been a part of the morning news team as a reporter.
