The sister of Westfield Bondi Junction stabbing victim Dawn Singleton has revealed how videos of her slain sibling’s laughter have helped her through the immense tragedy.
Sally Singleton-Hawach, who along with 25-year-old Dawn is a daughter of advertising giant John Singleton, paid a heartfelt tribute to her sister who was one of six stabbing victims of knifeman Joel Cauchi on April 13.
It comes as NSW Premier Chris Minns and state MPs officially paid tributes to the victims to those who lost their lives in the horrific atrocity.
Coogee MP Marjorie O’Neill, whose eastern Sydney electorate takes in the Westfield was among those to make a tearful tribute in parliament on Tuesday.

Dawn Singleton, 25, was one of the five stabbing victims of knifeman Joel Cauchi at Bondi Junction shopping centre on April 13
In a social media post, Ms Singleton-Hawach said shared photos of Dawn growing up and said her sister ’embodied love’ and ‘always spoke with words of such kindness… with a smile that warmed all our hearts’.
‘And that laugh, I play on repeat in my videos,’ Ms Singleton-Hawach wrote.
‘You were so loved. I love you little Sis. Till we meet again’.
Fashion worker Dawn has been set to marry her high school sweetheart, NSW Police Officer Ashley Wildey, in coming months.
Before falling victim to the stabbing rampage Dawn had bought her wedding dress and sent ‘save the date’ invitations to loved ones and friends.
Dawn was one of Singleton’s three daughters from his marriage to Julie Martin.
He has eight children in total.
In NSW Parliament Ms O’Neill said the raw shock of the tragedy was still reverberating in the community she represents.
‘There isn’t a day that goes by since April 13 when I haven’t met someone who was there during the incident, who would have normally been there at that time,’ she said.

Sally Singleton-Hawach (pictured right with father John Singleton) said her sister Dawn ’embodied love’
‘It could have been any one of us struck down, which is why our community feels so strongly about supporting the victims of this horrific act.’
Family and friends of the stabbing victims watched on from the public gallery as Ms O’Neill was one of a number of MPs paying tearful tribute the tragic events.
Ms Neill said along with grief she had seen resilience among her constituents.
‘There is more light than darkness in our community,’ she said.

Meanwhile NSW MP Marjorie O’Neill, whose eastern Sydney electorate of Coogee takes in the Bondi Junction shopping mall, has paid tearful tribute to the stabbing victims
‘Amidst the sorrow, moments of light have emerged as our community has come together to remember the lives lost.’
Vaucluse MP Kellie Sloan, whose electorate also takes in part of the suburb of Bondi, said the memories of those lost would be cherished.
‘There was a mum taking her little girl to buy a birthday present, there was a bride-to-be preparing for her wedding, a young mum shopping with her baby and students celebrating the end of exams,’ she said.
‘Beautiful hope filled lives with so much potential, cut so cruelly short.’
Jade Young, Ashlee Good, Faraz Tahir, Pikria Darchia, and Yixuan Cheng were also killed as Cauchi stalked the shopping complex looking for victims.
There were also 12 people rushed to hospital on the day including a nine-month-old baby Harriet, the daughter of Ms Good who lost her life.
