A mother from Western Sydney has won an eye-watering $22 million in last night’s Powerball draw.
The woman from St Claire, near Mount Druitt, said she screamed when she realised she had won the entire division one prize pool.
She received a call from The Lott officials telling her she had won while she was at work.
“I just opened my app now! What the heck!” she screamed.
“Oh my god. I can’t stop shaking. I’m just speechless.
“This is going to completely change my life. I can now buy a house!
“I just got to work, and I couldn’t help but yell out to everyone, ‘I won the $20 million!’.
“This does so much for me. Buying a house and helping my family is my main priority but I’d love to do some travel too.”

The winning numbers in Thursday’s Powerball were 2, 12, 4, 9, 10, 24 and 7. The all-important Powerball number was 15.
The prize pool of $20 million was boosted to $22 million due to a high number of entries purchased before the draw.
The mother in her 30s purchased the winning 18-game QuickPick on the Lott app.
She was the only division one entry in the country.
