Weir Views crash: Five people rushed to hospital after four cars collide in Melbourne’s west

Five people were rushed to hospital after a fiery multi-car collision in Melbourne.

The accident, involving four cars, happened near the intersection of Exford Road and Castletown Boulevard at Weir Views on Saturday at 10pm.

Victoria Police told Daily Mail Australia a teenage male with ‘upper body injuries’ and a woman in her 30s with ‘upper and lower body injuries’ were among the injured.

They were both taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital, each in a ‘stable’ condition.

‘Two other people were assessed at the scene but no emergency treatment or transport was required,’ a police statement said.

Police were alerted after receiving reports of a ‘car fire’, 7News reported. 

All the injured are understood to have non life-threatening injuries.

Victoria Police have urged anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them on 1800 333000.
