WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLS) — A Wisconsin judge set a sentencing date on Monday for the man convicted of driving his SUV through a holiday parade in Waukesha.

Sentencing for Darrell Brooks will happen on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16.

Six people died and more than 50 others were hurt in that attack.

Last week, a jury convicted Brooks on 76 counts, including six counts of first-degree intentional homicide. Each of those homicide counts carries a mandatory life sentence.

During Monday’s hearing Brooks repeatedly interrupted Dorow, as he did many times throughout his trial.

Dorow briefly halted court proceedings and moved Brooks to a separate room. Brooks claimed that he wore a shocking device on his ankle throughout the trial, which Dorow disregarded as untrue.
