Waukegan police: 3 shot, 1 fatally, in Waukegan strip mall parking lot

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WLS) — Three men were shot, one fatally, in a strip mall parking lot in north suburban Waukegan Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting occurred at about 6:20 p.m. in the 1300-block of North Green Bay Road.

A man in his 20s from North Chicago was transported to a hospital in serious condition and later died, police said. Authorities have not released his identity.

Two other victims, a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s, were transported to the hospital for treatment.

No one is in custody and detectives are looking for a motive.
