This is the awkward moment Leonardo DiCaprio is stopped and searched by police who don’t recognize him outside an exclusive Ibiza party.
In new footage, recorded earlier this month and obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail, the 50-year-old Hollywood star is seen held up in the street with his girlfriend, 27-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, and a retinue of pals.
A woman, who could be Ceretti, can be heard saying, ‘they are searching me right now, full on’, as DiCaprio – who has ditched his usual facemask – holds out the contents of his pockets to be inspected by the Spanish cops.
Eyewitnesses have told the Daily Mail how DiCaprio, one of the world’s most famous men, had to introduce himself to the police, who then demanded to see a form of identification.
DiCaprio’s group were eventually admitted to the exclusive event, held at a private villa on the party island by tequila company Patron and Spanish actor/singer Aron Piper.
Another A-lister wasn’t so lucky, however: it is understood that rapper Travis Scott was turned away.

Other stars who made it inside included model Kendall Jenner and DiCaprio’s BFF, actor Tobey Maguire.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Stars are just like us, Leo was one of many famous faces at the event and even he gets doubted at the door. The police did a double take when Leo checked in. He was kind and joking with them.’
The source added that every attendee, famous or otherwise, was subjected to the same rigorous security screening.
Representatives for DiCaprio, Scott and the Spanish Civil Guard did not respond to requests for comment.
The Oscar-winning actor and Ceretti are said to have met at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where his Martin Scorsese movie Killers Of The Flower Moon was premiering.

DiCaprio had previously been linked to supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Over the course of their relationship, Ceretti has been seen on occasion with a ring on her wedding finger, but sources have insisted she and DiCaprio are not engaged.
The couple were spotted earlier this month on a double date with newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez aboard the Amazon founder’s $500 million superyacht off the coast of Ibiza.
DiCaprio has become somewhat notorious in recent years for dumping girlfriends when they reach the age of 25. But Ceretti has bucked that trend.
She was previously married to Italian DJ Matteo Milleri, who she split from in 2023.
