Luckily for Erica Herman, Tiger Woods’ kids, Sam and Charlie, are super sweet, and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, is a class act. Aside from the SUV incident, Nordegren handled herself with dignity throughout their beyond-messy breakup. She did just two U.S. press interviews, both with People magazine. After that, she’s remained quiet about everything that went down (and likely has several million incentives to continue to).

Tiger’s relationship with Herman went public in 2017 when she was his plus-one at the President’s Cup. However, according to Page Six, the couple first met ten years before at a bar Herman worked at while studying at UCF. They finally got it together when she took a job as the Director of Operations at Tiger’s new restaurant. After things turned romantic, Herman was suddenly thrown into co-parenting a family. Thankfully, it was a smooth transition as Sam and Charlie approved of their dad’s new girlfriend.

“The kids like her,” a source told People, adding Nordegren did, too. “Elin has a friendly relationship with Erica,” the source said. “Tiger has come a long way, and Elin acknowledges that. She is happy that he is dating Erica,” the source added. Moreover, Woods even shared a flick in 2020 with Herman and his kids on vacation, writing, “Nothing better than being with family.” So what went wrong between the two?
