Narrogin man Luke Nardini, 31, was driving a BMW M4 on Highway 84 near San Francisco in California, when he collided with another car on a tight blind turn.

One man and one woman were killed, while two others were hospitalised.

Nardini posted a US$20,000 bail ($31,000) bail and had to surrender his passport.

The matter returns to court in October.
