Schoolboy Jeremy Thompson accuses the bus driver of intentionally closing the door on his ankle, trapping his foot, before driving off.

In May, the 12-year-old was allegedly dragged 300 metres along Pinjarra Road when he was getting on the 600 bus from Mandurah, south of Perth, east to Pinjarra.

A 66-year-old man from Rockingham is now facing one count of careless driving causing death, grievous bodily harm or bodily harm.

Bus company Transperth previously sacked him.

Jeremy is still experiencing back pain.

The driver is expected to face court next month.
