Hosted by Danny Murphy and Evan Real, Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast delivers a weekly dose of drama to all the reality TV obsessives out there. With fresh news and piping-hot interviews with reality celebs, you can always count on Murphy and Real to spill the tea. On Sept. 17, the dynamic duo will host the VRT Awards, which promises to “honor the most jaw-dropping, binge-worthy, can’t-stop-talking-about moments in reality television.” Voting for the VRT awards just opened today, but we recommend that you act fast — on Aug. 27, voting closes and the fates of your favorite reality stars will no longer be in your control.
Want to know more about some of the nominees? Reality TV is built on its drama, and its stars are often known for their shady moments and cutting comebacks. The “Made to Shade” category seeks to honor the shadiest women in the game, with Real Housewives Of Orange County star Emily Simpson being among those nominated. Reality powerhouse Kristin Cavallari has been nominated in the “Comeback Queen” category for their returns to the spotlight, and Love Island Season 7 winner Amaya Espinal has been nominated for “A Reali-Tea Star is Born” for her unforgettable reality TV debut.
Those aren’t all the big names on the ballot — Paige DeSorbo, Alan Cumming, and Kylie Jenner have all been nominated for the “Most Coveted Closet” category. Kim Kardashian is nominated for the “Boss Babe” award, because how can she not be?
And, of course, Andy Cohen is nominated for the “Hot-Tea of the Year” award for his ravishing good looks. It seems like Cohen was flattered by his nomination, because Murphy and Real will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
