A man has been rushed to hospital following an early morning stabbing in Sydney’s south-west.
The man was knifed at a unit complex in Gundaroo Street at Villawood just before 5.30am Monday.
Emergency services treated the victim aged in his 20s at the scene for stab wounds.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives have set up a crime scene as an investigation was launched.

No arrests have been laid at this stage.
The incident occurred during a social media livestream, Sunrise reported.
Detectives have cordoned off Gundaroo and Lowana streets near Thurina Park, which has disrupted the running of local bus services.
‘Buses are diverting from a part of Lowana St due to a police operation near Belar Avenue,’ an alert states/
‘The buses are using Alcoomie Street and Killanoola Street instead, and missing four stops in each direction.’
Commuters are warned to expect delays.
