A young woman was enjoying the sunshine on a beach when she was ‘rudely interrupted’ by a elderly man passing by.
Astrid was sitting on the sand fully clothed and minding her own business when the man made a comment many labelled as ‘disturbing’.
‘Hi, if you want to sunbake and you don’t have a [swimming] costume, that’s alright. It’s a nudist beach – you should take it all off,’ he’s heard saying in video footage.
Astrid attempted to laugh it off before he replied he was ‘serious’; after an awkward pause he said he was joking and walked off.
The uncomfortable interaction left Astrid shaken as she was simply trying to film a ‘cute TikTok’ and enjoy the scenery in peace.
The clip has since exceeded more than 371,000 views and outraged many women – many of whom have encountered similar behaviour.
The majority agreed the comment was ‘disgusting’ while others argued that older generations have a ‘dry sense of humour’.
‘Old people say the most random things,’ one wrote.

‘Omfg what’s wrong with people? Can’t we have anything? Hope you’re okay girl,’ a third added.
‘So uncomfortable to have those comments made towards you. I’m so sorry! You handled it as best as you could. I thought this was gonna be something wholesome.’
Others gave the man the benefit of the doubt based on his age and said such comments would’ve been acceptable ‘back in his day’.
‘I’ve had old women say similar creepy things, old people are just strange. I don’t think anything of it though, just move on and look at the funny side,’ one wrote.
‘I don’t think he was trying to be inappropriate. The older generation can just have a dry sense of humour and I feel he was just trying be funny,’ another said.
‘Imagine what it was like in the 70s,’ another pointed out.
