The video was posted in the Hallett Cove and Surrounds Community Watch public Facebook group.

It showed a man in a bucket hat, shorts, and white t-shirt walking up to a doorstep, picking up a couple of Woolworths delivery bags, before leaving the premises.

“This person stole $170 worth of Woolies order from our doorstep,” the poster said.

“I was inside the house with my baby and opened the door 2 minutes after he left!”

Police confirmed they were aware of the incident and were investigating.
