9News has been told it’s alleged the woman was also sexting the underage offender, who can’t be identified for legal reasons.
Youth justice workers are tasked with monitoring teenagers to make sure that they are attending court-ordered programs.
They’re also required to write reports to inform magistrates how the teenager is behaving and whether they should be kept in custody or granted bail.
The Department of Justice and Community Safety spokesperson said it takes all allegations of misconduct seriously.

“The safety and wellbeing of the staff and young people within the youth justice system is our highest priority,” the spokesperson said.
“We expect all correctional staff to act to the highest standards at all times and that any allegations of misconduct are thoroughly investigated.”
It’s still unclear whether Victoria Police will launch its own investigation or whether the matter will be referred to anti-corruption watchdog IBAC.
