Under the shake-up, Danny Pearson will take on the Transport Infrastructure and Suburban Rail Loop portfolios previously held by Allan, overseeing the state’s multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects.
Tim Pallas will remain Treasurer, while Deputy Premier Ben Carroll will become Education and Medical Research Minister.
Former speaker Colin Brooks will play a role in the implementation of the government’s housing strategy, becoming Development Victoria, Precincts and Creative Industries Minister.
Frontbencher Gabrielle Williams will move into Government Services and Consumer Affairs Minister, where she will work on the government’s rental reform agenda.
Mary-Anne Thomas will add the Ambulance Services portfolio to her responsibilities. She will remain Health and Health Infrastructure Minister.
Harriet Shing is the new Housing Minister, where she will oversee the government’s big housing build agenda.
Ingrid Stitt will take on Mental Health Minister, which puts her in charge of the controversial supervised injecting centre, which is proposed to open in Melbourne’s CBD.
Steve Dimopoulos will retain his role as Tourism, Sport and Major Events Minister, while also moving into Environment Minister.

Former Education Minister Natalie Hutchins will lead the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions as Jobs and Industry Minister. She will become Treaty and First Peoples Minister.
The cabinet will feature a fresh member, as Eltham MP Vicki Ward becomes Prevention of Family Violence and Employment Minister.
The new-look cabinet was sworn in by Victorian Governor Margaret Gardner this morning.
“(The cabinet) reflects a strong team of ministers and people who are ready to step into some really challenging areas of government,” Allan told reporters today.

Opposition Leader John Pesutto also revealed his new shadow ministry this morning.
Under the changes, Matthew Guy will return to the front bench as Shadow Minister for Public Transport, while Jess Wilson moves into Show Minister for Education.
