A sergeant from Victoria Police’s People Development Command was suspended on Friday night as a criminal investigation takes place.

Professional Standards Command are investigating allegations a female officer, while on-duty, performed a Nazi salute on two occasions in front of colleagues.

The alleged incidents took place on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Victoria Police Academy.

The member has been suspended on pay, with Victoria Police not making any further comment while the investigation takes place.
