Just two weeks out from the return of schools, the senseless vandals have left a large cleanup bill at the Happy Valley Primary School, in Happy Valley.
Shortly before midnight, police responded, after banging noises were heard coming from the school, but the offenders were gone.
Much of the damage was done to classrooms, with shards of glass littering footpaths and yellow golf balls strewn across the grounds.
Cabinets were left damaged and a tree stump was also found in a window.
The incident comes just a few days after vandals broke into the school’s chicken coop, damaged the fencing, and egged one of the classrooms.
The principal told 9News the extent of the damage has been assessed, and they’re working with contractors to repair it.
It’s believed the golf balls were stolen from the driving range at The Vines golf club, with the offenders breaking into the course at around 10:30pm before heading to the school.
The golf club was also damaged.
