A crossing over a crocodile-infested river went very wrong when a ute was swept from the back of a truck.
The ute was loaded on a truck attempting to drive over Cahills Crossing, a notorious river crossing in the Northern Territory’s Kakadu National Park.
Footage captured the moment the car was swept away from the back of the truck.
Luckily, the ute became lodged in the river before it was swept downriver.
The two men inside scrambled out before the truck came back to rescue them.
Up to twenty large saltwater crocodiles were seen in the water nearby.
Cahills Crossing is a popular crocodile-watching spot – and has a long history of claiming vehicles.
