A desperate search has been launched for a woman and a young girl who vanished overnight in Melbourne.
Shantell, 38, and Mya, 2, were last seen on Village Drive in Reservoir in Melbourne about 6pm on Thursday.
Police and family hold grave concerns for their safety, due to the length of time they have been missing.
Missing child Mya (pictured) has curly dark brown hair, a slight build and is about 89cm tall
Shantell is caucasian, with blonde hair and a slim build. She is about 160 to 70cms tall and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink pants

The mum was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink pants.
Mya has curly dark brown hair, a slight build and is about 89cm tall.
Police say Shantell is known to frequent Reservoir, Sunshine, St Kilda East and Malvern East.
