An urgent search has been launched for a young girl after she disappeared from a shopping centre.

Anamah Bazzi, 12, was last seen on Burwood Road in Burwood, inner-west Sydney, at about 8.30pm on Sunday.

The young girl is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, medium build, about 170cm tall and with long, brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper, black leggings and white sneakers.

Anamah is known to frequent Newtown, Croydon Park, and Bankstown.

Anyone with information on Anamah’s whereabouts has been urged to contact Burwood police or Crime Stoppers.
