His family said it is out of character for Mr Parker (pictured) to not contact them

A young Australian tourist has gone missing in Bali for more than two weeks, sparking an urgent search.

Jackson Parker, 22, from southeast Queensland was last heard from on November 8.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said Mr Parker boarded a flight to Bali on October 30.

‘We are trying to find a missing Australian (our son) and hope some of you can share this message and info with anyone in Bali in the tourist industry, hotels, bars, hostels, tourist operators, authorities and anyone you know,’ his father Roly Parker posted to the Bali expats Facebook group.

‘Jackson Parker is listed as missing since November 8th and his family are desperate to find him.

‘Authorities have been alerted but getting his information out there is important.

‘Its extremely out of character for him to not be in contact.

Mr Parker’s visa entry said he was booked to stay at Premium Villas Seminyak in the island’s capital of Denpasar, but he did not check in to the accommodation and has not been heard from since.

Jackson is 178cm tall, has light brown to blonde hair, blue eyes and a medium build.
