Arianny Celeste is best known for her time within the UFC as a ring girl; she debuted in 2006 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Paradise, Nevada, and won “2006 Ring Girl of the Year” by Fighter’s Only Magazine.

Although she is known as a ring girl, she is also known for standing up for herself and her fellow ring girls on multiple occasions — once against UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and once against Ronda Rousey ahead of UFC 184 when Rousey commented on the UFC ring girls’ salaries, saying she thinks ring girls should not be paid as much as they are.

Arianny Celeste did not let Rousey’s comments slide and spoke out, saying. “I won’t talk about her because I’m not a fighter. I’m not going to waste my time. I don’t talk about anyone. It blows my mind that someone who doesn’t even know me continuously picks on me. And that’s all I see her as — a big bully.”

Nurmagomedov made similar comments regarding ring girls, calling them “the most useless people in martial arts,” to which Celeste clapped back with, “I’ve worked over 15 years in this industry and learned it’s easier just NOT to CARE. For 15 years, we have been more than just ring girls – we have dedicated time to promoting UFC and showing love and time to our die-hard fans through touring the world and personal appearances. And while the world is very different, I can still feel that energy and love every time we have a show with an audience.”

Celeste said that 15 years of hard work and dedication had led her to be “A bad a** independently wealthy female. A real estate investor and owner of not just 1 but 3 homes/properties, one located in LA -which is expensive AF, and a female who is not afraid to take risks and build for my future.”

She concluded, “You don’t have to like me, but you will respect me.”
