A two-year-old girl has died after being found unconscious in a hot car parked at a rural home in Central Queensland.
Emergency services were called to the property located on Bee Creek Road in Eungella, 80km west of Mackay, at 2.20pm on Sunday following reports a toddler was unresponsive in a vehicle.

Paramedics immediately performed CPR on the toddler who was in a critical condition but despite their efforts could not revive the two-year-old.

Temperatures on Sunday soared to 32C in Eungella.
Detectives from the Mackay Child Protection and Investigation Unit declared the property a crime scene.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
Police said initial investigations have revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding the girl’s death, while a report is being prepared for the coroner.
Eungella is famed as the gateway to the Eungella National Park and has a single road connecting the small town to the Pioneer Valley and broader Mackay region.
