Two women have been rushed to hospital after the driver of a car that crashed into a daycare centre reportedly suffered a medical episode.

The Mazda ploughed into a hedge outside the daycare centre at Burdekin Court, in Wattle Grove in Sydney’s south-west, at about 5.40pm on Thursday.

The 25-year-old female driver reportedly suffered a medical episode behind the wheel moments before the crash. No children were injured.

Emergency services freed the women and rushed both to Liverpool Hospital.

A NSW Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia officers are still investigating what may have caused the incident.

‘The building structure was damaged, however there were no reports of any other persons being injured,’ the spokeswoman said.
