Police were told there was an altercation among a group of people at a Parson Street address in Rye shortly after 4am.
Officers found a man and woman with gunshot wounds inside the home.
They were declared dead at the scene.
It’s believed another man fled the house.
Police say it’s understood the parties were known to each other.
Part of the street has been taped off and an investigation is underway.
