Emergency services have responded to a fatal light plane crash in Sydney’s south-west.

Police said emergency services responded to reports two light planes had collided and crashed in the vicinity of Belimbla Park near Oakdale at about 11.45am.

Officers are currently at the scene and have set up two crime scenes.

Members of the public are urged to avoid the area.

An investigation into the cause of the crash will be undertaken by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).
