Two people have died and a man has been airlifted to hospital after a truck and a motorhome collided in Victoria’s north-east.

The two vehicles crashed on Patchewollock-Sea Lake Road in Speed, near Mildura, about 11.20am, according to police.

Two people who were inside the motorhome, who are yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a man in his 60s, was airlifted to hospital with an upper body injury in a stable condition.

Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision and investigations are ongoing.
