A Brisbane woman has been left “shaken and traumatised” after an alleged kidnapping and assault on Thursday, leading to arrests on Friday.

Police alleged a group of four men drove to the home on Cassowary Street in Doolandella in a stolen Audi before they forced their way into the property.

The 43-year-old woman inside the home was allegedly assaulted, and then placed in a car and taken to Forest Lake.

Investigators alleged that the men were armed with two guns and a knife, and said that at least one gunshot was fired. They also alleged that a second assault took place.

She received non-life-threatening injuries, but police said she was left “significantly shaken and traumatised,” by the alleged targeted attack.

Four men were arrested during a search warrant at a property on Jarvis Street, in Stafford Heights.

Two men, aged 18 and 20, have since been charged, while two others have been released.

”The best assumption at the moment was that it would be for money, the motives will become clearer as the investigation progresses,” Assistant Regional Crime Coordinator Acting Inspector Michael Hogan said.

“It’s a common motive that people commit robberies for money.

“We don’t believe they knew each other, but they knew of the address.”

Both men were charged with a string of offences, including kidnapping, extortion, torture, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and armed robbery.

Hogan said that there is no threat to the public, as two guns and a knife were seized from the home on Jarvis Street.

The stolen car has also been located.

Police are still looking for two men who they believe were involved in the attack.
