A teenage driver has died after their ute smashed into a tree and caught on fire.
The 18-year-old’s Toyota was heading east on Owens Scrub Road towards Tummaville, near Toowoomba in Queensland, when he lost control. He died at the scene.
A 17-year-old passenger miraculously escaped the with minor injuries.
