Tucker Carlson, who tapes his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” out of Washington D.C., quietly made his move to Florida last summer, The Post can confirm.
The spirited anchor purchased a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom abode on Gasparilla Island for $5.5 million in August 2022.
Located in the small community of Boca Grande, prices in the residential neighborhood have skyrocketed in the last decade.
Prior to Carlson, 53, and his wife, Susan Andrews’ ownership of the property, it last sold for $1.2 million in 2017. In 2009, the home traded hands for only $549,000.
In 2020, Carlson and his wife shelled out $2.9 million for a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home next door, and had primarily used the Florida property as a second getaway home.
That property is worth an estimated $4.1 million today.
But it looks like with the additional pad, just steps from the ocean, Carlson is planning a more permanent home base in the coming years with his family in the Sunshine State.
Occupying more than 2,800 square feet, the newly purchased single-story home was sold to Carlson in an off market deal — likely with friendly neighbors who made him a bargain offer.

The balmy and tranquil island has been used by a series of celebrities and dignitaries who have frequented the neighborhood.
Harrison Ford, the late George H.W. Bush, Katherine Hepburn, Jason Garrett and Tom Brokaw have all been known to rent or own vacation homes in the area.
Carlson’s move to own two multimillion-dollar homes down south followed after the Fox anchor parted ways with his 7,400-square-foot Washington D.C. mansion for $4 million in 2020.
He had been facing a slew of hecklers in the home.
Meanwhile, both homes are older — built in the 1960s. So it is likely Carlson and his wife will undergo a slew of renovations.

While filming his show, he lives in an apartment complex outside the District of Columbia in Arlington, Virginia.
Carlson has perpetually been considered the highest-rated cable news show on television.
