Travis Barker is giving an update on his hand following his surgery last week.
Barker, who is a drummer for the rock band Blink-182, was set to make a comeback with their upcoming world tour starting this month. However, a broken finger might have gotten in the way.
Fortunately, his mangled finger may be healed just in time for the tour, as he recently gave fans an optimistic update, indicating his steady recovery following surgery.
Travis Barker Gives Fans Hope With Healing Finger Ahead Of World Tour
The “Meet the Barkers” star is giving his numerous fans hope with his healing finger after a successful surgery.

He uploaded eight pictures on Instagram, with some showcasing his remarkable drumming prowess and one centered on his recovering finger.
As seen in the seventh slide, Barker laid out his palm and showed off his formerly broken ring finger which appears to be now healing. The finger had a zigzag scar of a stitch with a purple hue, indicating it was doused with medicinal solutions.
Not to kill the anticipation of Blink-182’s tour, the skate punk icon shared a few captivating views of him drumming, with one showing him flipping his drumsticks. One snap, showing him shirtless with his multiple tattoos on full display, perfectly represented his drumming talent as his hands were photographed in different positions on his drum set.
Meanwhile, in one slide, Barker donned overalls and posed with a stereo in the background and his hand partially covering his face while another captured him taking a picture of an artwork in a gallery. Taking to the caption, he wrote, “If you wanna make god laugh, tell him your plans.” Since the post went live, it has gained over 85k likes with a few hundred comments, including one from his wife, Kourtney.
She sent love to him with a heart emoji after penning “George Condo,” whereas other commenters were concerned about his broken finger. One such fan hoped his recovery would not affect Blink-182’s tour, particularly the Baltimore one scheduled for May, but still wished him a speedy recovery.

Another fan noted that the “Enema of the State” star would have a finger scar similar to theirs; simultaneously, one called him a “hard worker.” “God has the most amazing plans 4 u,” a fourth fan expressed, and a fifth declared, “best of the finger – greetings from argentina.”

One other supporter was glad to see Barker all “patched up,” same with another who was a fellow vegan sending “much live” amid his recovery.
An eighth fan believed his scar was “dope” and prayed it healed quickly, while another commenter created an ironic dialogue between God and the musician. They wrote, “Travis: Hi God, I got a plan, I’m finaly [sic] plaing [sic] in Brazil – GOD: Not this time son hahaha.”
Before surgery, The Blast reported that Barker showed fans the extent of his injury using several pictures and a video. In the video, a health professional tried to reset his broken finger by trying to pop the bone back into place, which was painful for the drummer.
Other slides in the post showed closer views of the damaged finger, highlighting its swollen appearance, while in one, he wore a black brace on the finger. “Surgery tomorrow,” he captioned the post, adding a finger-crossed emoji, and fans showered him with prayers and well-wished, including his doting spouse.
Blink-182’s Upcoming World Tour This March Sold Out In Hours!

Blink-182’s tour is undoubtedly a big deal as it is the first time the group will be performing in ten years, after being disbanded. The Rock band — comprising Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge — reunited late last year, leading them to announce a new album and their upcoming tour.
In their words, “We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming. Tickets on sale Monday. New song “Edging” out Friday.”
The band dropped another update on the gram with an “overtly-sexual” message, after which they sold out their world tour tickets in a matter of hours.
DeLonge was amazed at the good fortune as he shared the news that new shows and extra dates in cities would be included while urging fans worldwide to “please try and come.”
