With a car, van or bike plus a bit of spare time and gumption, this side hustle could see you earning $135 on average through pick up and delivery jobs.

The relatively straightforward task of taking one thing to another place was the ninth most sought-after job on the AirTasker platform.

For example, one client left his wallet in Newcastle, NSW, and it had his house keys on it, but he was already back in Sydney.

The client reportedly paid $120 to deliver them back to him from the NSW central coast.

This did not include food delivery – another common side hustle.
