Tony Armstrong is set to replace Dr Chris Brown on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The Logie-winning sports reporter, 33, will replace the handsome vet according to a report in Woman’s Day magazine.

A source told the outlet that Tony was the full package when it came to being an onscreen presenter.

‘Let’s be honest, Tony is a dreamboat,’ they said.

‘He’s tall and handsome, and his also charming and witty with loads of charisma, he is the complete package – and ridiculously popular.’

According to the report, Tony’s main competition has been Sam Pang, who was celebrated for his Logies effort this year.

The source went on to say that while Sam is a ‘huge talent’ he doesn’t have the broard appeal of Tony to viewers.

‘Tony will work better opposite Julia and she’s a massive fan of his. I can definitely see her flirting with Tony, just like she did with Chris.’

It comes after Julia Morris told Yahoo Lifestyle! last month that the show will go in a ‘completely different way’ following the departure of her co-host after they shared the screen for almost a decade.

Brown left Channel 10 for more onscreen opportunities at rival Seven.

Julia explained that she’s testing her ‘chemistry’ with six potential candidates and the selection will change the dynamic.

‘I’m going to have to leave everything of the past behind,’ the 55-year-old told the publication.

‘Whoever comes in is going to want to build that together,’ Julia went on.

‘So there’s plenty of space for that person, we’re just looking forward to finding out who that’s going to be.’

Julia added that making the right choice is vital to the future success of the popular reality series.

‘Whoever that person is is going to have a huge effect on whether I’m working over the next few years, so I want it to work,’ she said.
