The girl’s father told 9News he was outside washing his car, when young Pimchan rushed onto the road.

He said extremely grateful for the quick-thinking actions of both drivers on the road.

“I turn around, I see her on (the) road, she was very fast running,” he said.

“Someone help, so I’m happy, thank you so much to him.”

The family said they’ve been living in the unit block for around two years and other young children living in the complex.

Thankfully, there have been no other near misses before.
