Paramedics were called to a house in Yatala on the Gold Coast at 5:20pm on Wednesday, where they found a 3-year-old girl with multiple injuries to her head and neck.

She was in a serious condition and was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital according to Queensland Ambulance.

It is believed the dog belonged to her grandmother – that dog, and three others – have been seized from the property by police.
