The number of well-designed buildings, interiors, and items you see in a day would be impossible to calculate.
But it’s not the good items that stand out: it’s the poorly executed design decisions that catch your eye.
These design fails were photographed by social media users from around the world, and collated into a funny gallery by Bored Panda.
Among the inexplicable designs is one snap showing a pillar built directly in front a seat, in a church.
Another of the photos shows a public bathroom, with the urinals put awkwardly in front of the stall doors.
Perhaps this badly-placed support beam will ruin the dining experience for those at this eatery, believed to be in North America
And another bathroom fail shows how the designer decided to put a slatted door in front of the toilet – making the experience more public than one might hope.
Meanwhile, an eatery built into a building with a sloped roof, shows how the angled beams run uncomfortably in front of diners’ faces.
