Forget About a Wall China Paid for. This 'Walz' Was Bought & Paid for by LGBTQ Extremists.

I had totally missed the Great Donut War of 2024, but apparently there has been some controversy over who is better equipped to pick donuts: Tim Walz or J.D. Vance.

Being fat, I like my donuts, although it has been a few years since I have actually had one (I think). I certainly don’t want my Vice President–from either party–making donut choices for me. I like my Old Fashioned or Sour Cream Old Fashioned donuts, and nobody is going to push me to eat glazed if I can avoid it.

What did catch my eye, though, was Minnesota Senator Tina Smith’s entry into the controversy.

Smith was Lt. Governor to Mark Dayton when he was governor before Walz’s election. Walz and Smith campaigned together when they were both on the ballot.

What is striking about that photo is what you cannot see: the name of the bakery, which Smith strategically had cut out from the original photograph. And there is a reason for that: the store was killed off by Tim Walz’s COVID-era shutdown policies.

He literally drove the shop out of business, and Smith is now using a photo in front of the bakery Walz killed as part of the campaign.

It’s all “haha, aren’t we funny.” Except there was nothing funny about living in Minnesota under Tim Walz during COVID. He pushed policies that kept casinos and liquor stores open while keeping churches closed. His policies drove small businesses into the ground, destroyed the restaurant industry, killed seniors in nursing homes, and in this case he killed his favorite donut shop.

But at least he and Tina Smith can smile about it.

Good time, man. Good times.
