It turns out Tim Allen had no filter when it came to, well, telling Blake Shelton he wanted to sleep with his wife. This all went down at the 2012 CMA Awards when Allen was sitting behind Shelton, who was blocking his view of the stage. Allen admitted on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that year that he was pretty annoyed he couldn’t see around the super tall country singer, but forgave him because he’s a fan of “The Voice”. But that’s not the awkward part. Oh no. Cue Lambert taking to the stage.
“A woman comes up, and you probably know this, and everybody else knows it, but I didn’t know this… Miranda Lambert,” he recalled. “So she’s up there rocking out with the crazy one, some song about her being nuts and tattoos and booze. I was like, ‘I love this woman’ and [Shelton] turns around and says ‘Boy, I’d love to tap that’ and I said ‘Me too!’ And then I get that look,” Allen continued, admitting he had no idea Shelton and Lambert were married. “And he goes, ‘That’s my wife!’ And like a comic, I said, ‘Let me finish…’ So yeah, we haven’t spoken since… but she’s really good.”” Awks.

The thing that probably only made things even more awkward? Allen, alongside Reba McEntire, ended up presenting Shelton with his Entertainer of the Year award that night. Double awks.
