Popular TikToker Elyse Myers has funny stories for days.
Her most recent viral TikTok video tells the hilarious story of how buying pregnancy tests on Amazon turned into a neighborhood affair. Not only did her husband get surprised by the package, but so did the neighbor’s kid and his entire household.
Elyse Myers’ Amazon Package Went To The Wrong House!
Thinking she might be pregnant, Elyse decided to buy pregnancy tests online on Amazon was less embarrassing. Her plan could have been foolproof if it wasn’t for the box being delivered to the wrong house and the young child at that house thinking it was a Christmas present for him.
“How did a small child and his entire family find out I was pregnant before and Imy husband and I did? Great question, I would love to tell you,” she began her TikTok video.
“So around Christmas time, I bought a pregnancy test off Amazon because I was like, I think I’m pregnant, and I’m not about to go buy a test in person because that’s more embarrassing than buying toilet paper and tampons combined.”
She bought the test online, which was supposed to arrive three days later. The only problem was it came two days later, and to the wrong house. Since it was around the holidays, the little boy next door, who was receiving presents from family and was allowed to open them as they arrived, assumed that box was for him and opened it.
“This boy saw a little present on his front porch, and he goes, probably for me,” she continued. “No, it wasn’t!”
The little boy opened the box before his family, and that’s when the confusion began…for everyone. “The family goes over to the little boy opening the package and goes, ‘Who is this from?’ For: Elyse Myers. From: Amazon Fulfillment Services,” she explained. “Grandma takes the package and goes, ‘I don’t think this was meant for you,’ and tries to wrap it up like it never was opened.”

The Neighbor Tried To Leave The Box On The Myers’ Front Doorstep Inconspicuously
Around 9:30 p.m. that night, she tried to sneakily leave the package on Myers’ front doorstep and quickly flee the scene before anyone saw her. Unfortunately for the grandma, the Myers have a doorbell camera, so they saw her walking to the house. Elyse then put Jonas on the job to see who it was and what they were doing outside.
“So, Jonas walks out, and he’s like, ‘Excuse me, can I help you?’ and she turns around and says, ‘I am so sorry, my grandson opened your package, but I taped it up. I didn’t want you to notice, and I put it on your doorstep,” she continued telling the story. “And he goes, ‘Literally, no worries, it’s all good.”
At this point, Jonas has no idea what’s in the box. Elyse said she even forgot what could be arriving and assumed it was the replacement remote for the Firestick TV.
“And Jonas is watching me open this up,” she said. “Two digital pregnancy tests. Surprise.”

Elyse dropped into the comments to add a funny point she didn’t mention in the video. “Jonas reminded me after I posted this that the neighbor was the receptionist who checked us in when I was in labor the first time.”
One relatable content creator’s followers wanted to know how crazy things always happen to her. “Don’t get me wrong, I can’t get enough of your content, but how does all this stuff always happen to you?” they wrote, to which Elyse replied, “I ask myself this daily. I wish I were making this up because that would be so much easier to live through.”
Another follower pointed out that Jonas didn’t look too upset about what was in the box, to which Elyse responded, “Not upset at all, just laughing hard that we knew a small child opened it first.”
