TikTok influencer Lorenzo Delle Femmine has suddenly died at the age of 40 after he reportedly collapsed in front of his children.

The Italian star, who chronicled his family life for his 1.8 million TikTok followers, died from cardiac arrest on Monday.

Femmine, known as Mister Pella Pazzo on TikTok, had reportedly been playing with his three young children at their flat in Casalnuovo di Napoli, near Naples, Italy, when he started to feel unwell.

The 40-year-old collapsed on the floor in front of them before being rushed to hospital in nearby Acerra, according to local media reports.

But medics were unable to save his life and he was pronounced dead on Monday, his wife Assunta, who starred alongside Femmine in the TikTok vidoes, confirmed.

Lorenzo had been hospitalised due to a sudden illness last month.

After being discharged a few days later, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with labyrinthitis – an inner ear infection that affects one’s balance.

The father-of-three had used his TikTok account to chronicle his everyday life with his children and wife.

His often-ostentatious lifestyle – one of luxury vehicles and expensive suits – made him something of an anti-hero.

Before his death, Assunta had posted a video telling their 1.7 million followers: ‘Good morning, everyone. Lorenzo is not doing very well at the moment. He sends a kiss to everyone.

‘Between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow he will reply to everyone.’

But her message was quickly followed by the news of his death. She wrote on Instagram:  ‘I feel so bad. I can’t believe it.’
